Vote for Atty. Emmanuel S. Tipon for U.S. Senator to represent Hawai'i in Congress.
Let us make Hawai'i a Paradise again!
I am Emmanuel Samonte Tipon of Honolulu. I was born in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, PH in 1932.
In 1960, I was awarded a Fulbright scholarship by the U.S. government to study at Yale Law School, where I earned a Master of Laws degree. I also obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines and was a bar topnotcher. In 1972, The Lawyers Co-operative Publishing Company petitioned for me to come to the United States and write law books. Subsequently, I became an immigrant and then a United States citizen.
I assist citizens and green card holders in obtaining legitimate immigration benefits but have never represented an illegal alien. Additionally, I help individuals wrongfully charged with crimes whose ineffective lawyers pressured them to plead guilty. I served as the Dean and a professor of law at the College of Law of Northwestern University in Laoag City, Philippines. I author law books and newspaper columns and host a radio show, The Tipon Report, every Thursday at 8 o'clock in the morning on KNDI 1270 AM. I assist sellers and buyers of homes.
I am running for the U.S. Senate to represent Hawaii in the United States Congress, aiming to support the people of Hawaii. I am a proud Republican.
My goals include:
1) Eliminating visa requirements for Filipinos to visit the U.S.
2) Allowing relatives who have been petitioned as immigrants to come to the U.S. and wait for their visa number to become available.
3) Continuing visa processing by the beneficiary if the immigration petitioner dies before the visa is approved.
4) Obtaining at least $5 billion in federal aid to Hawai’i for roads and other infrastructure.
5) Giving senior citizens federal assistance for food and other necessities.
7) Providing free education at all levels.
8) Providing a supplement for the compensation of teachers.
9) Providing free medical care for life for citizens who have served in the military.
10) Reducing foreign aid and ensuring that only countries friendly to America and vital to American interests get aid.
11) Preventing illegal immigration and summarily deporting illegal aliens.
12) Supporting the right to bear arms as provided for in the Constitution.
13) Strengthening our military.
14) Creating an American foreign legion composed of foreign nationals to fight for America abroad.
TOM CAMPBELL
Former U.S. Congressman, California
"I enthusiastically endorse Emmanuel S. Tipon for the US Senate in Hawaii. When I was a US Congressman, and the Republican nominee for the US Senate in California, I worked closely with Mr. Tipon who advised me on issues of immigration and national defense. Specifically, he authored the law to give Filipino World War II veterans citizenship in the United States, and I was honored to co-sponsor it. Mr. Tipon was consistently well informed, considerate of other views, and deeply committed to the protection of our country. I knew Hawaii's representatives in Congress when I served in the House, including its Senators; and I can assure that Mr. Tipon will maintain and surpass the tradition of excellent service they have shown."
